Maybe its a good thing that chat is down as it will give userplane time to sort the spyware intrusions and redirects that has plagued me and many others. I have contacted admin on several occasions with details and screensavers and they say the blame falls squarely on the userplane and there was a consideration to shut chat down to cure this annoying and intrusive problem.
I have included a reply below from admin which i received today.

I had a 2 hour phone call with userplane last night, who were till then were refusing to believe they are the cause of the problem. Last night they finally admitted they were perhaps some strange things happening but would still not concede the problem lies with them.

We are seriously thinking of closing down chat for 2 weeks or however long until this can be fixed.

I picked this up from chat this morning and it almost crashed my system to the point of having to wipe the drive and start reloading everything i had on it. My virus protection saved me a lil bit of pain lol. Just thought i would let all know about it. Grumpybiker / saxon

Seems they are up to their tricks again, ghost rooms, connection issues.
if i get in as soon as i type i loose connection grrrrrrrrrrrrrr

seem sike the chatroom is having problems again. i cant even get in. The thing keeps telling me "my connection was interupted"....

anyone else having this problem?

ALSO just noticed the dates are wrong in the forums. although today is the 18th December 2008.... the forum says it wa sposted in oct!
