When I try connecting to the chat service, I just get a never ending 'Connecting' message, with the dots going back and forth. Anyone else dealt with this issue? Any idea what I need to do to connect?

Do you have the latest version of flash installed on your computer?? Its the only thing I can think of.

I have the same problem..... never ending "connection" my flash player has been updated... not sure what else to do!

There may be an issue regarding using chat if you are using a proxy server to connect to the internet. You can check if you're using a proxy server in IE by doing the following:

1. Click on the "Tools" menu option.
2. Click on "Options".
3. Click on the "Connections" tab.
4. Click on the "LAN settings" button toward the bottom of the window.

The window that pops up will have two regions. The bottom one will be labeled "Proxy server." If the box beside "Use a proxy server for your LAN" has a cross in it, you're using a proxy server and may have problems connecting to chat.

Now I'm having trouble connecting. I was in the room earlier, left to make dinner but did not switch the laptop off. Came back and tried to get back in, and got stuck at connecting. Rebooted, cleared everything, including cookies. And I was completely logged out of Yuvu. Still no joy. I don't use a proxy server. I have Windows Vista, use Internet Explorer 7, and have Flash 10.0.12.36. I also have a headache because I don't understand why I suddenly can't get in. Not happy ... need help .... :cry:

Windows XP
I have the correct and updated version of flashplayer
Have not changed my firewalls since the old chatroom worked

THe network/ internet is not connected through a proxy server

Having the same problem as hotpolarbear

Well, I have been able to get in today. It's taken a couple of goes, and it's very slow, but I got there. Wasn't like this in the beginning though ...

A scrolling headline banner would be nice when chat is down with a guess as to how long it might be down just an idea

I have a problem with the chat room connection. About a week can't get to chat room. Doesn't show connecting or something else. At the bottom of the window on the left says "done" but nothing comes out.. Could you please help me with this.Thank you.
