Hello everyone. Admin recently tested some changes in chat, and then reverted them because there were "too many complaints."

The first change was disabling private messages. This prevents abusive users from opening private message box on someones screen over and over again. The downside is some people feel private 1 on 1 chatting will not be possible. Whispers would still exist, but not true private window chatting.

The second was changing it so each time someone wanted to view a cam, the cammer would have to accept them by clicking an accept button whenever they got a new viewer. This helps the cammer control who is watching them. The downside is that the cammer has to click 'accept' button for each viewer, every time they go on cam.

Lets vote here and show admin what we really want in chat. Please feel free to comment below about these potential changes.

Disable Private Messages


Well, you can disable them already, but the chat does NOT save the setting, just like it does NOT save the ignore list. :/

Every time I start chat, I go into settings and
- Change the sound options
- disable private pop ups

It would save me time if this was persisted between sessions/logins
